One of the most interesting things about publishing your own newsletter is that you get to see which book recommendations land the hardest, as seen from the amount of clicks each of them get.
I send my newsletter (The Reading Life) out to 4,700+ readers every week, and so I usually find out pretty quick which books are most popular, and which ones…not so much.
Out of these 10 (well, 11, including the Book Quote of the Day, which is actually the most popular book), it was Book #8 that was ripped off the virtual shelves most often — which is cool, because it’s the book that’s fast becoming my TOP recommendation for 2024!
Book #1 is the best time management book I’ve EVER read though (out of dozens), Book #2 was my most-anticipated read ever since I heard it was coming out, Book #5 is one of my top business book recommendations (out of hundreds), and Book #9 is one I haven’t been able to stop thinking about since I read it last year!
