These ten books I’m about to recommend contain the cheat codes you’ll need to instantly understand the inner psychological lives of the people around you.

They cover a lot of ground — everything from what ancient wisdom says about how to be happy, to status-consciousness and what our purchases say about who we are, all the way to self-compassion and the subconscious fear of death.

Turns out there’s a LOT more going on underneath the surface than most people ever see, and before I read these books I was completely ignorant of many of these extremely powerful psychological realities.
