As for the algorithm, I say it all the time: “If your business relies on the algorithm favouring you, you don’t have a business.”

If some coder at FB or Amazon or whatever can destroy your whole business model with a single tweak, you should be VERY worried. The pros (meaning: amateurs who eventually learn) know to diversify their income streams and gain control over their business - to the extent that that’s possible.
