I Finished 6 GREAT Books Last Month, Bringing My Yearly Total Up to 66 So Far!
Three months left to crack 100+ books for the 11th year in a row!
I started the year with an ultra-ambitious (foolhardy?) goal of reading 200 books, and right now it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.
But that’s okay! Not only is it not a race, but I had a lot of fun reading and learning from these six books — they each added something special, something irreplaceable to my life — and I’m more grateful that I made time for these ones than I am regretful that I didn’t read more.
And there are some fantastic books here!
We start off with a few that fall squarely within the personal-development/business category, including the personal wealth manifesto of one of the greatest marketers the world has ever seen.
Then we switch gears completely and head to prison in the United Kingdom at the turn of the last century, where we meet one of the absolute giants of English literature as he’s sitting in prison, basically for being gay (tragic, true story).
The final book was written by another man of letters — but one who couldn’t be more different in temperament than the first. Both were incredible writers, though, each spectacular in their own way.
