I Just Finished Reading My 1,300th Book Since 2014
My July reading recap, books that will dramatically improve your life, and what’s in store for August
I read 7 books last month and it doesn’t feel like it at all — which is probably because most of them were so short.
Three of them were under 150 pages, and two were audiobooks, but they were all worth reading, and I have dozens of pages of notes (combined) from all of them.
One of them wasn’t short at all, but just felt short because of how compulsively readable it was. It’s a nonfiction book that reads like a novel, and it’s the second book on my list.
The fifth book I finished last month was also the 1,300th book I’ve finished reading since 2014 — so that was cool!
All those years working minimum-wage security jobs, overnight, that gave me literally thousands of hours to read in peace really did pay off! But that’s a story for another time.
For now, my full Reading List of all 1,300+ books is right here, my complete notes from each book is right here, and let’s just get right into the first book I read last month: How to Make a Few Billion Dollars, by Brad Jacobs…
