This is the Best Book I Know About to Help You Ease Financial Anxiety and Take Control of Your Mental Money Health
Whenever a rich person kills themselves, many poor people ask themselves some version of the same question:
“I don’t understand…why would they commit suicide? They have so much money!?”
That’s because, when you’re poor, it’s difficult to think beyond your current situation. A drowning man only thinks about the water he’s drowning in, and people who are drowning in financial worry can only think about bills and money and stress.
None of this, by the way, is meant to a judgement on anyone’s character or anything like that. I may be standing on dry land right now, but I’m still wet, so to speak.
I still remember what it’s like to face financial uncertainty and to brace for impending calamity — and not only that, but I also believe that the only time you should look down on anyone is when you’re helping them up!
So I want to share one of my favorite “money books” of all time, The Psychology of Money, because I think it could be a literal life-saving book for many people still surfing the financial waves.
Ok, I’m done with the water metaphors, I promise.
