You Can Look Back on This Month as the Month That Changed Your Life Forever
In a book that approximately everyone has read, James Clear writes that you should be much more concerned with your current trajectory, rather than your current results.
The book, of course, is Atomic Habits, and the idea is revelatory! I mean, scientists believe that humans have around 6,200 thoughts per day, and if you made sure that you had this thought at least 100 times a day, my guess is that before long you’ll be a lot further ahead in your life than you are now.
Because it really doesn’t matter if you don’t have your perfect body right now, just so long as you go to the gym today, eat healthy meals today, and get lots of quality sleep tonight. Your trajectory, your path is rock solid, and it’s taking you to where you want to go.
That’s how I feel about this month, in which I’ve decided to live on Nightmare Mode.
Alright, so what is that?
Well, it’s a term taken from a video game (I forget which one, don’t @ me!), and it denotes the highest possible difficulty level. It means that I’m putting myself through “Creative Hell” this month and pledging to make INSANE progress in just these few short days.
